This antique tortoise shell locket and chain necklace is circa 1800′s. The locket measures 2 3/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches including the bail. The chain measures 20 inches long and 5/8 of an inch wide so it has a bold look. The locket has an interesting design on the front. It looks all complete to me with nothing missing. The necklace is very light weight as tortoise shell is and is in excellent antique condition. The clasp looks original to me as it is carved tortoise shell. If it were my necklac
