This Arts & Crafts period silver and amber brooch is circa early 1900s. It is fashioned from silver and set with a butterscotch amber gem. The brooch measures 2 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches and weighs 29.1 grams. The brooch is some grade of silver, I did not wish to put acid on it to test it as it would leave a mark. There are no identifying stamps. The condition is excellent. There is one tiny nic in the top of the amber stone. Any gold color in the metal are photographic flaws, this brooch is dark silve
